Embrace Your Transformation

IMG_3430.JPG

At the heart of your permanent makeup journey is a commitment to understanding your unique goals. We start each appointment by discussing your vision and setting expectations. I’ll guide you through the emotional ups and downs of the procedure and the healing process.

After completing your Permanent Makeup Intake and Consent form, I’ll provide an aftercare packet and explain the instructions. Together, we’ll choose the perfect color to complement your hair and skin tone.

Next, I’ll create a custom design tailored to your features by taking precise measurements to determine ideal placement. I’ll present the design for your approval, encouraging you to provide feedback until you’re completely satisfied.

Remember, initial results may look intense as your skin heals. Peeling, itching, cracking, and a sunburn-like feeling are normal during the 15 to 30-day healing process.

If you’re not fully satisfied with your brows after healing, please let me know—I’m happy to make adjustments. Your happiness is my ultimate goal!

Carefully wash your face, avoiding contact with chemicals. Use a damp cotton pad to cleanse and gently pat dry with a clean tissue.

Gently Cleanse your Face

You will receive an after care ointment. Apply it after cleaning your brows or more frequently as advised by your technician.

Use After Care Ointment

Avoid using regular skin care products, on the brow area, as certain ingredients can speed up the fading of permanent makeup.

Limit Skin Care Products

Please do not apply makeup to the treated area for at least 14 days, as this may lead to irritation or infection.

Avoid Makeup for 14 Days

Avoid touching the tattooed area to prevent irritation and reduce the risk of infection during the healing process.

Do Not Touch your Tattoo

Refrain from picking any scabs to ensure proper healing and minimize scarring or damage to the skin.

Avoid Picking Scabs

Try to avoid sleeping on your face during the healing process to protect the treated area from pressure and irritation.

Sleep on your Back

Avoid activities that may cause excessive sweating, such as intense workouts or outdoor sports during the healing period.

Limit Sweating Activities

Limit long showers, swimming, and saunas to prevent irritation and allow your skin to heal properly.

Steer Clear of Hot Water

Avoid direct sun exposure and tanning to keep the treated area safe and promote a better healing.

Protect from Sun Exposure

Please refrain from any facial treatments until your brows are fully healed to avoid complications or irritation.

On the first day after your procedure, you may feel excited and pleased with your results. The initial look often feels bold, and the swelling and tenderness are reminders of the fresh procedure. Embrace this feeling as part of the journey!

Day 1 : Excitement & Anticipation

As the excitement fades, you may notice increased swelling and tenderness. This can lead to mixed feelings as the initial results may look different than expected. It's normal to feel concerned at this stage, but remember that healing takes time.

Day 2: Reality Sets In

During the next few days, you might experience more discomfort and see changes in color as the skin begins to heal. It’s common to have doubts about the outcome, but it’s crucial to stay patient and trust the healing process. Many clients experience a dip in confidence during this time.

Days 3-5: Doubts & Frustrations

As peeling begins, you may find yourself feeling frustrated with the ongoing changes. The initial results might seem too light or uneven, causing some disappointment. Remind yourself that this is a temporary phase, and the final results will come with time.

Days 6-10: The Waiting Game

Around the two-week mark, you may start to notice improvements as the healing progresses. The swelling and peeling diminish, and you may begin to see the true color emerging. This shift can reignite your excitement and optimism about your permanent makeup.

Days 11-14: Renewed Hope

Once the healing process is complete, you'll see the final results. By this time, you’ll likely love how your permanent makeup enhances your features. The roller coaster of emotions will have settled, leaving you with a look that you adore.

Refrain from alcohol and caffeine for 24 hours prior. Both can thin your blood, causing excess bleeding and affecting healing and pigment retention.

Avoid Alcohol and Caffeine

On the day of your appointment, avoid applying makeup to the treatment area. For eyeliner, no eyelash extensions or tinting should be present.

Skip Makeup on Appointment Day

Ensure a good night’s sleep before your appointment. Rest helps your body recover and prepares you for the upcoming procedure.

Get Plenty of Sleep

Drink plenty of water in the 24 hours leading up to your appointment. Hydration helps your skin absorb the ink effectively during the procedure.

Stay Hydrated

Start moisturizing the treatment area with alcohol-free lotion once or twice a day for a few weeks. This will help the ink apply smoothly and strengthen your skin.

Moisturize the Area

For the lip blush procedure, consider doing a lip scrub 24 hours before your appointment. Smooth lips ensure better results for your treatment.
